Job Description

We are recruiting for a People & Culture Advisor – Learning & Development, to work on a permanent basis for a large manufacturing company in the Chorley area/hybrid.

Salary is c£35-38,000 per annum plus 25 days’ holiday and bank holidays, pension, healthcare etc

The role is working Monday to Thursday (with Friday, Saturday and Sunday as weekend)

We are currently recruiting for a People & Culture Advisor – Learning & Development to support organisational growth through the design, coordination and delivery of training and development initiatives across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to play a key role in supporting employee development, apprenticeships, early careers programmes and internal capability building.

Key Responsibilities for the People & Culture Advisor – Learning & Development

  • Coordinate and manage the annual training plan across the organisation
  • Monitor training activity and support budget tracking
  • Arrange internal and external training programmes
  • Maintain accurate employee training and CPD records
  • Support apprenticeship and graduate development programmes
  • Liaise with external training providers and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct training needs and skills gap analysis
  • Assist in the development of career pathways and competency frameworks
  • Support induction and onboarding processes
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Build relationships with education providers and support talent pipeline initiatives
  • Deliver internal learning sessions where required

About You

  • CIPD qualified or working towards (desirable)
  • Previous experience within Learning & Development or People Development
  • Experience coordinating training programmes or apprenticeships
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience maintaining training records and competency frameworks
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning management systems
