Electrical Assembly Operative

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Assembly Operative to work on a 3 month minimum contract (possibly going longer) in Wigan.

Rate is £13.45 PAYE per hour plus holdays, pension etc

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Assembly Operative:

• Wiring and assembly of RCDs within domestic electrical units.
• Using manual hand tools and small mechanical tools.
• Testing completed electrical units.
• Re-labelling small components and parts.
• Heat shrinking and packaging products ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Good practical and manual skills.
• Comfortable using hand and small mechanical tools.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.
